PandaMind (operating at pandamind.in) provides free, science-backed mental health self-assessment tools. We are an independent project, not a medical provider. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at contact@pandamind.in.

2. What We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate the service:

• Quiz answers: Processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Email address (optional): If you choose to receive your results by email, we collect your address solely to send that email. We do not add you to any marketing list without your explicit consent.
• Analytics data: We use PostHog (self-hosted analytics) to collect anonymous usage data — page views, session duration, device type, and approximate location (country level). This data cannot be linked back to you personally.
• Technical data: Standard web server logs including IP addresses and browser type. These are retained for 30 days and used solely for security and performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver quiz results to you in your browser
• To send results by email, if you request this
• To understand how people use the site (aggregate analytics)
• To detect and prevent abuse or misuse

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, profiling, or any form of commercial exploitation.

4. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party
• We do not use quiz answers to build profiles about you
• We do not run ads or allow advertising networks to track you here
• We do not store your health-related quiz responses on our servers

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process limited data:

• PostHog — anonymous product analytics. See their privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — loads fonts when you visit the site. Google may log the request. See Google's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — CDN and security. See their privacy policy.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies — only those required for analytics (PostHog session tracking) and basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time without affecting core quiz functionality.

7. Data Retention

If you provide your email address, we retain it only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which you provided it. Analytics data is retained for 12 months in aggregate form. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@pandamind.in. We'll respond within 30 days.

9. Children

These tools are intended for users 16 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us immediately.

10. Medical Disclaimer

PandaMind tools are screening aids only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified mental health professional for clinical assessment.

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
