Making mental health
self-awareness accessible
PandaMind exists because understanding your own mind shouldn't require a waiting list, a referral, or a bill.
Why We Built This
Mental health tools have existed in clinical settings for decades — validated screening instruments developed by researchers at WHO, Harvard Medical School, and other institutions. But they're rarely accessible in a format that's honest, well-designed, and free.
We built PandaMind to change that. Each tool is grounded in peer-reviewed research, designed to be honest about what it is (a screening aid — not a diagnosis), and built with care for how people actually feel when they're searching for answers about their own mind.
The ADHD assessment is the first. More are coming.
Note: PandaMind is an informal self-discovery project created with the support of AI coding assistants and open web frameworks. It represents a humble effort to put well-researched screening tools into a clean, distraction-free interface for everyday personal reflection.
Our Principles
Scientific Basis
The ADHD Trait Assessment is based on the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS v1.1), developed by the World Health Organisation and Harvard Medical School, and validated in the landmark Kessler et al. (2005) study. It incorporates DSM-5 diagnostic criteria across five dimensions: inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional regulation, and executive function.

A Note on Mental Health
Taking a self-assessment is a brave first step. Whatever your results show, they don't define you — they describe patterns. ADHD, anxiety, depression — these are not flaws. They're ways the brain works differently, and with the right support, people with these traits live full, remarkable lives.
If your results concern you, please talk to a mental health professional. In India, you can reach iCall at 9152987821.
